  • Interim director, 2021-2022

    Created curriculum for graduate proseminar and taught special theme semester on Israel, Palestine, and anti-Semitism, exposing students to multiple perspectives, frameworks, resources, and speakers for understanding and analyzing these topics both academically and communally. 

    Developed and ran co-curricular learning opportunities and events for students, community stakeholders and program alumni, often in collaboration with Judaic Studies and the local Jewish community. 

    Managed all program operations including: budget management; recruitment and admissions process; student scholarship award and administration process; staff supervision and onboarding; and day to day operations. 

    Served as academic advisor for JCLP students, working collaboratively with the local community and Social Work field office to identify and secure field education placements.

  • Israel and Palestine program founder and co-leader

    Created and administered program budgets and safety & security plans in coordination with University stakeholders and international community partners; worked with business operations staff to manage grant administration. 

    Executed all program activities and logistics, balancing providing a thoughtful and nuanced educational program with shifting on the ground security concerns. 

    Facilitated difficult dialogue between students of diverse backgrounds, responding to intense emotional reactions and heated disagreements that arose, creating space for all perspectives to be included. 

    Organized and delivered pre-departure educational sessions focused on Middle East politics, intercultural competencies, logistics and safety, and expectations; supervised post-trip, student-run community engagement projects that brought learning back to campus.

  • Program Manager, 2013-2016

    Instituted administrative systems from the ground up, collaborated with staff across schools, colleges, and departments to ensure student success;, developed and administered program evaluation processes; hired, onboarded, and supervised professional, graduate and undergraduate staff. 

    Created and ran all educational and engagement programming including large-scale events such as daylong activism trips, social justice retreats, social justice fairs, and graduation, often partnering with other units on campus. 

    Grew program to over 300 students, making it the highest enrolled undergraduate minor on central campus through increasing recruitment efforts and expanding course offerings.
